a little over 2 months have passed
since
her beautiful heart returned to her home
here in california
these months
have held
joy as she held her newborn niece
sorrow as she said goodbye
to her precious grandpa
(for now, right Rachel?)
:)
they have held a multitude of emotions
as Abba has painted on her heart
with colors
of rainbows
stretching from
horizon to horizon
her heart has touched many hearts
she sparkled and danced
laughed and hugged
cried and rested in the arms of
those who love her most ~ her parents
all the while sharing her love for Jesus with each step
she spent time in Mexico
loving on His little ones
loving on His little ones
a place where she left a piece of
her heart a few years ago
today she leaves
for her Zambian home
to love on His little ones there
to love on His little ones there
Zambia holds a piece
of her heart
while another piece
of her heart remains
here in her original home
here in her original home
many emotions for a heart so young
Rachel,
may the Lord bless you and keep you
may the Lord make His face shine
upon you
and be gracious to you
the Lord turn His face toward you
and give you peace
your heart has homes in
3 countries
yet is held together securely
with His love
because your heart beats as one
with His
I love you, Rachel!!
