shape your worries into prayers..."
Philippians 4:6 NLT
the shape of a
worry
a worry lies close to the ground
clinging with closed fist
held close to the heart
daring not let go
for fear of
losing control
dark in color
heavy in weight
shape indefinable
fog of the soul
permeating
clouding the vision
turning all thoughts inward
prayer
a prayer is released
from open arms
stretched toward heaven
its shape indefinable
yet beautiful to behold
cries of the heart
rising upward as golden dust
being gathered in His arms
tears stored in a bottle
a prayer needs no shape ~
for it fills the universe
from east to west
from north to south
worry becomes a prayer
when the heart praises
praise brings colors
in hues covering
the spectrum of rainbows
rainbows dance
grace falls from heaven
as praise meets angel worship
