knowledge of the glory of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea"
Habakkuk 2:14
a vision
a word
all sent from
Abba to a heart
with ears open to hear
with eyes open to see
with knowledge to
understand
with passion underlying
every beat of that heart
and with courage.
courage beyond himself
for who would dare take a step of faith
(which could be likened to stepping off a cliff)
in his own strength and wisdom?
not ONE detail of this heart's
life story and song caught Abba
off guard
for how could the Author
and Composer be caught
off guard with His very
own story and
composition?
oh perhaps the heart of which I speak
and the family of that heart were
caught off guard
for surely the details intricate
woven throughout were not
without pain and heartache
for no life ever lived alive
will be without heartache for
to live and love as Jesus does
is to make one's heart
vulnerable.
and to be vulnerable
is to risk being hurt
and does not Abba have
a way of pushing us out
of a comfort zone
(even if that zone is not
particularly comfortable
it is at least familiar)
in a manner never even imagined
by the heart being so pushed?
oh but that is where His glory
shines with radiance beyond
description!
and all who see will know it was Him!
was born.
a ministry with a heart
to help hearts across
the entire globe
know and grasp
the depth of their
Abba's love for them
for truly nothing will change
a life
a heart
so radically
as knowing His love.
oh not understanding in full
for who can understand the
ununderstandable?
and who can fathom the fathomless?
and who can comprehend the
incomprehensible?
and therein lies the beauty of the
Father's love...
He asks not that we understand
or fathom or comprehend
His love
.no.
He asks only that we
accept and feel and touch and
know in our heart of hearts
that we are loved.
that we are His.
and. never. ever. alone. again.
