when you seek Me with all your heart"
Jeremiah 29:13
the seeking heart receives
a hug from God
wrapped in His overflowing love
tied with ribbons of rainbows
covered with drops of grace
precious time spent seeking His face
a time so intimate two hearts beat as one
He shows Himself in new
profound
unimaginable ways
wrapped in a new vision
of the everyday moments
the colors He uses in this hug
vary in hue and intensity
at times so radiant
with His glory
eyes cannot open
His glory more than can be taken in
at other times the brush stroke
is delicate
the colors intimate
as the nail-pierced hand
traces the proof of His love
in intricate patterns on the heart
of the one who seeks
the seeking heart ~
a heart so overwhelmed
with His presence one can do no more than
fall down before Him in worship
the heart is allowed to see His heart as never before
revealing in stunning clarity
that everything
is from Him
through Him
because of Him
and ultimately for Him ~
O come let us adore Him!
