to teach what my mind and heart
seem so slow to learn...
climbing
laughing
giggling
running
"Grandma, look!"
marshmallows drowning in chocolate
cookies so numerous as to make
Cookie Monster jealous
new ground to explore
trees to conquer
hands to hold
rocks and fish
flowers and sun
all joining in
whispers
to my heart
"cease striving
let worries go
live in this moment
see life through the eyes of a child"
with nothing but bubbles
and 3 year old precious
and He reminds me that
I have all I need
for He is all I need
she twirls
she laughs
she picks flowers
not meant to be picked
but Grandma says
"just one is okay"
which turns into
one of each
color so
vivid
moments beyond precious
love so innocent
love so pure
the child's eyes see
only what lies
directly in
the path...
and once again He uses the
ones so little
to show me what
I so must learn...
He is all I need for He is enough
