ten tiny fingers
ten tiny toes
a baby girl
perfect in perfection
a gift from heaven
given to you to love forever
and you will love her forever
yet you long to hold her
to cuddle her
to sing to her
in this life
in this moment
how does the heart understand
the ununderstandable?
how does the mind comprehend
the incomprehensible?
what can even be said
when words seem so inadequate?
Jesus loves you
He weeps with you even
as He dries your tears
He holds Elorah Grace
as drops of grace fall
all around you
Elorah Grace never saw the light of life
here on this earth
but oh the radiance and brilliance and warmth
she saw and felt the very moment
she was lovingly lifted into the
arms of Jesus
she went straight from utter security and warmth
to the same multiplied by tens of thousands!
her life was not without purpose
for in Jesus everything has purpose
even the painful
the crushing
the heartbreaking
as you begin a journey you never
dreamed you would walk
I pray for peace indescribable
to envelope
to permeate
to completely saturate
your heart of hearts
I pray for comfort sweet
as He holds you in His arms of love
I pray that His love will pierce
even your darkest of dark moments
for He is light
and nothing in heaven or on earth
or in all creation
nothing
will ever be able to
extinguish the
light that is
Jesus Himself...
the love~light warm
and soft and glowing
and radiant and tender
and majestic and gentle
and holy and compassionate
He is holding you tonight
and He will hold you forever
"God is light... in Him there is no
darkness at all"
